Trade Fair Concept Relaunch
For Brabender Technologie (as of Oct. 2022 Kubota Brabender Technologie GmbH), we revised and redesigned the concept of their national and international trade fair appearances. The message of the slogan “Keep the Flow” was adopted and integrated as a guiding theme. The company’s core competencies include material expertise, consulting, and the development of individual solutions.
What We Did
The Client
Brabender Technologie GmbH & Co. KG (as of Oct. 2022 Kubota Brabender Technologie GmbH)
Brabender Technologie stands for globally leading expertise in the manufacturing of gravimetric and volumetric feeders and discharge devices. The company is represented at numerous national and international trade fairs, covering various focal points of the raw materials to be processed. Among others, we design and build trade fair stands for Brabender Technologie at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, Chinaplas in Shanghai, Powtech in Nuremberg, K in Düsseldorf, and Fakuma in Friedrichshafen.
The Challenge
Challenge
The Brabender Technologie brand is evolving over time from a product provider to a solution provider. The company has developed extensive process expertise, and its employees are experts in their respective fields. This transformation and the associated benefits for customers are to be highlighted and communicated. Customers significantly benefit from the existing know-how, as they receive more specific and better solutions for their respective requirements. To emphasize this, handshake situations where people communicate directly, as well as touchpoints and intelligent technical aids, are most suitable. Thus, with the help of the new exhibition stand concept, the focus should be placed not only on product solutions but also on consulting and accompanying services related to the production process.
The Concept
Concept
Making “Keep the Flow” more visible and tangible
The comprehensive know-how regarding the “flow” behavior of various materials in dosing and discharge devices is a significant USP of the company. It enables customers to achieve smooth production processes, less downtime, and better processes. This is to be communicated and made tangible in various ways. This includes architectural measures, graphic stand design, interactive elements, and the optimization of visitor flow at the exhibition stand.
Lightness through brighter surface areas
Less is more: A bright, friendly stand concept creates an open and transparent sense of space. The focus on large, light surfaces with individual color accents allows for the concentration on specific highlights and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
Modification of large and visually heavy wall components
By reducing partition walls and room dividers, a large, open, and clear space is created, allowing easy and direct access to all products and staff.
Expanding human-to-human moments
Products remain essential – but are less effective without the people behind them. Therefore, more space is consciously provided for handshake moments, enabling stand visitors and customers to more easily understand the path from product to individual solution.
With various adaptable elements, the exhibition stands can be individually adjusted to different requirements and conditions, while also having a high recognition value and serving to strengthen the brand. Individually adaptable, they can simultaneously address the respective thematic focuses of the trade fair.
The Result
Result
The slogan “Keep the Flow” describes the company and its products more clearly than the company name. Therefore, it is prominently displayed on the walls, while the actual company logo floats above the stand, making it visible from a distance. Visually, this flow is also reflected in many oblique shapes and lines, either in the form of graphic elements or in beveled display elements, which also allow for a clearer view.
Direct interpersonal encounters and conversation moments are supported by a reception desk and seating for personal consultations and contacts. Furthermore, touchscreen monitors integrated into the wall provide access to additional individually retrievable information, such as the CITO media channel.
The “Material Competence Corner” illustrates the different flow behaviors of various materials and invites participation. This clearly and tangibly presents various scenarios. Here, too, personal conversations quickly arise between company employees and stand visitors.
The use of large, bright surfaces with few color accents, the open spatial design that allows for an easy overview, and the omission of large, bulky elements ensure a light, open, and transparent perception of the stand – qualities that can be transferred to the company.
Overall, the trade fair appearances have become significantly more communicative, leading to more conversations and interactions. Products are showcased and presented in an attractive setting – but are not the sole focus. The interplay between people and products is – literally – fluid, thus becoming a holistic solution.
